I had this in my notes for a good year, and I would say it every morning until I believed it.
Every time I assumed the worst, I would force myself to turn it around and picture the best-case scenario.
You can unlearn anything, and this is just one small example of switching the script and changing your response.
I wouldn’t say it’s a quick process; you’re breaking down and building new pathways of thinking. It’s always easier to take the well-known path, so this shift takes time and constant effort.
But it’s worth it, and it doesn’t have to be this big change; it can be as simple as asking yourself - what’s the best that could happen?
